Mantra -Tibet bibliography
There are 5 main lineages in Tibetan Buddhism: the Böns, (pre-Buddhist tradition), the Nyingmapas, Kagyupas, Sakyapas, and Gelougpas, which have many traits in common.
The great difficulty in studying and comparing these different paths is that the terms often used to describe the same practices are different and specific to each lineage, the bases being mostly the same.

Regarding meditation, some titles will duplicate the dedicated section.

Alexandra David Néel

Alexandra David Neel traveled through Tibet at a time when it was forbidden to foreigners and was the first Western woman to reach Lhasa in 1924.

She followed the teaching of various Tibetan masters and was admitted to the rank of Lama.
